Easter is coming right up and those adorable Easter baskets and shirts with that cracked egg design are popping up everywhere.\u00a0 Now of course you could go buy the SVG (I even sell them) but why do that when you can easily make your own cracked egg design in Cricut Design Space?? It\u2019s actually really easy and it can all be done for free within Design Space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Create your egg<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So in order to make a cracked egg design you have to start with a regular egg.\u00a0 Go over to the left menu bar and click on \u201cShapes\u201d.\u00a0 Pull in a circle and click the lock icon at the bottom left to unlock the circle.\u00a0 Once it is unlocked, drag the right in a little and drag it down a little to make and oval egg shape. That\u2019s all you need to do for your egg.\u00a0 Move it over to the side.\u00a0 You won\u2019t need it for the next few steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Create the cracks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create the cracks you just need to work with the diamond shape.\u00a0 Go back to the shape menu and pull in a diamond.\u00a0 Unlock the diamond the same way you did the circle and manipulate the shape until it looks right to you. (This is totally up to you on how you want it to look.\u00a0 The video below will show you how to move the shape.)\u00a0 Once you have the diamond how you want it, duplicate it two times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
