<\/h1>\nFall is upon us here in Texas. That means there\u2019s one week of nice fall weather before frigid winter begins. We don\u2019t really get a fall here. It\u2019s more like a month of spring then summer, summer, summer, a week of fall then winter, winter, winter! Anyway, that\u2019s Texas for you and totally not the reason for this post. Halloween is the reason for this post and I wanted to share with you guys how we all do co-parenting on Halloween.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a quick look at our family dynamic.<\/p>\n

This family dynamic is pretty common these days with the divorce rate being so high. Here\u2019s where we break the mold. Tasha and I = besties! I mean for real! That woman is amazing and one of my dearest friends. Dewal and Trey \u2014 they\u2019re pretty good friends too. It\u2019s things like sharing the holidays that has brought us all together. I just want to tell you that you can get there too. It\u2019s such a warm and wonderful feeling knowing your child is so loved.<\/p>\n
In our family we celebrate the holidays together. We have been doing this since Collin was born seeing as how Tasha has been in ourlives since Collin was one month old. ![\"first](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/crystalscreationsdfw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/boozoo-300x300.jpg?resize=300%2C300\")
Collin\u2019s first Halloween we took him to Boo at the Zoo since he was only 10 months old and couldn\u2019t really go trick or treating. (pic above)<\/p>\n

His second Halloween we did a family theme of Charley Brown. I was Peppermint Patty, Tasha was Lucy, Trey was Linus and Collin was Charley Brown. I hadn\u2019t met Dewal yet. (pic to the left)<\/p>\n
Collin\u2019s 4th<\/sup> Halloween he was old enough to choose his own costume and he wanted to be a ninja turtle so guess what? We\u2019re all doing the family thing again. Trey was Krang, Dewal was Shredder and the rest of us were Ninja Turtles with Collin being Michael Angelo, his favorite. (pic below) \u00a0<\/p>\n Now here we are coming up on Collin\u2019s 5th<\/sup> Halloween and we\u2019ve got another sibling in the mix. Although ninja turtles are still way up there on Collin\u2019s favorite list, he wanted to do something different this year. He wants to be Brat from the Despicable Me 3 movie. So the other night we sat down and figured it all out. Collin will be Brat, Dewal will be Gru, I will be Lucy, Trey will be El Macho, Tasha will be Agnus, Caelyhn will be Agnus\u2019s stuffed unicorn and Cohen will be a purple minion (very fitting for him lol). I can\u2019t wait to get all the costumes done and show you all how it turned out.<\/p>\n **Update, here we are. Dewal has come on the scene now but we didn\u2019t have our costumes on for this picture and Tasha is about to burst with Cohen.
