Want to know how to fill words with an image or images? Did you know you can do it in Cricut Design Space? Yep, you sure can and it doesn\u2019t take long to do.\u00a0 This tutorial will show you how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing your photos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First you need to think about the overall look of your design.\u00a0 If you\u2019re just using one photo for one word then it\u2019s not so important.\u00a0 Everything will match up well because it\u2019s all from the same photo.\u00a0 If you\u2019re using several photos, like in my example, then you really need to put some thought into the photos you choose.\u00a0 You want to make sure that the colors are similar so that the overall project looks good. You also want to shy away from super close up photos because they just don\u2019t give you enough room to work with when placing the letters in the photo.\u00a0 You\u2019ll probably want one photo per letter.\u00a0 For my example I did the word \u201cDAD\u201d so I used 3 photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have your photos picked out upload them all to Design Space. This may take a little time depending on how large the photos are.\u00a0 Make sure to choose \u201cComplex\u201d as the file type and then save as a \u201cPrint then cut\u201d image.\u00a0 Open a new project and insert your images into the project.\u00a0 They will probably be really big so just reduce them down to a manageable size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
