I got FreeTime Unlimited<\/a> for free when I purchased the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet<\/a> for my son for Christmas last year. We had been using an iPad mini that we got through our mobile phone service but our contract was up and I was going to have to buy it to continue using it.\u00a0 I wasn\u2019t about to spend $300+USD on a tablet for a 5 year old. That\u2019s when I found the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet<\/a> for SOOO much less and it was BETTER than the iPad mini! It has more storage, more features, more parental control and just overall better (except the camera but a 5 year old doesn\u2019t need a high quality camera).<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t really know what that was but it was already installed and it was free so, cool\u2026I\u2019ll take it. Now that he\u2019s had the tablet for a bit and we\u2019re really starting to use all the features I am totally blown away at how simply A-MA-ZING the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B01I499BNA?ref_=assoc_tag_ph_1515018135680&_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=pf4&tag=crystalscraft-20&linkId=dee9fd0b8494e51e539da8fff68fdb82\">FreeTime Unlimited<\/a> is.<\/p>\n<h2>What IS Amazon FreeTime Unlimited?<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s an Amazon subscription that allows safe screen time for kids. It has everything under the sun. Learning games, books, puzzles, videos, Disney, Disney Jr., Nick Jr., Nick, Cartoon Network, PBS Kids. I could go on for hours, but I won\u2019t lol. Second, you can schedule it so that your child only has access to certain parts at certain time. Like after chores are marked off the to do list. Or you can set it to shut off after a certain time of day or certain time spent using the device.<\/p>\n<h2>Why do I need it?<\/h2>\n<p>Remember earlier when I asked if you needed 10 minuets of uninterrupted time? Well, safe, worry free screen time for your kids will give you that 10 minuets and however much longer you need! YOU control what your children see and hear. YOU control how long they use the device and when they can use the device. Just set up the controls you want and then hand your kiddies the device without a care in the world. Only want educational games and shows? No worries, you can set that up. Worried about age appropriate content?
