Okay so, St. Patrick’s Day is in less than 2 weeks and I just realized I don’t have any cute crafties made yet. I wanted something simple and fun to hand out to my son’s Pre K class. Treat Bags are always a good option. I hopped on my Cricut and found this precious St. Patrick’s Day rainbow and I knew I could make it work. I ran by Hobby Lobby for a few finishing touches and before I knew it, I had these St. Patrick’s Day Treat Bags all made up and ready to go.
Don’t have a Cricut? No Worries
Now, I realize not everyone has a handy dandy Cricut machine so I made a printable you can download and print up if you want to make this but don’t have a Cricut. On a side note, if you don’t have a Cricut…WHY NOT? Last Friday, during the mad morning rush to get everyone out the door on time, my son decided to let me know it was Dr. Seuss Day at school. He needed something “Dr. Seussy” to wear. Well, I had about 20 minutes before we had to walk out the door.
I dug through his closet and found a yellow shirt and that’s where the idea started. I headed to my craft room and opened up my Cricut Design Space. Then I pulled up a star from the shapes tool and cut it from some light blue adhesive vinyl I had on hand. In less than 5 minutes my son was a Star Bellied Sneech. He was beyond excited and I was happy that I had my Cricut to rescue me. I seriously can’t go a day without this thing. If you’ve been on the fence about getting one… just do it. You WON’T regret it!
Now, back to the treat bags, lol.
