How to make Wavy Text Designs

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make Wavy Text with just one click. You can use this to create SVG fils or PNG files. The retro style is super in right now and with this tutorial you’ll be able to create your own wavy text files to use or sell.

Get a great Retro Font

The first thing you’ll need is a really good retro font.  I like the Retro Groovy font and Peace & Love fonts from CreativeFabrica. I’ve linked to the fonts individually but if you use this link you can get them both for free. This Free Trail to CreativeFabrica will let you download your first 10 items totally free.  Then it’s just $9/month for an all access subscription.

Create your Design in Photopea

The next thing you’ll need is Photopea.  Photopea is a free website that works like Photoshop.  Now don’t worry! Photopea is free and it’s a safe website so you won’t get a virus or anything. Also, you don’t need to know how to use Phtoshop for this to work.  In the video below I will walk you through how to make the wavy text in just a few clicks and it’s actually really easy. I won’t cover everything Photopea can do because it’s quite extensive but I will show you everything you need to make your own wavy text.

So that’s all you need…a great retro font and Photopea and you’re all set.  You’ll be designing your own wavy text designs in just a few minutes. If you want to continue creating retro designs I also have this tutorial that will show you how to make layered Retro Text designs.

Put these 2 styles together and you’ll be ontop of the upcoming trend.
