Christmas Gift Guide for 4-6 year olds
This one is right in my wheelhouse ladies. My son turns 5 in December so not only do I have Christmas gifts to buy but I have birthday presents too. Not to worry though, my son has given me hundreds of things he wants and I’m going to share the best ones with you. I have not been paid to promote any of these toys however if you purchase from one of my links I may receive a small commission. I have already purchased 6 out of 10 of these totally top 10 worthy toys. So let’s get started.
Number 10, Just Play PJ Masks Headquarters Playset
This is a 3 story, double sided playset standing over 2 feet tall. It comes with Cat Boy and his car. There is a zip line, a swing, an elevator and a ramp to launch the car down…or just the PJ Mask’s themselves. It also has a light and sound center with a rotating wheel to let your little one select their mission. There are several phrases from the characters and it plays the theme song. If your child is a PJ Mask enthusiast, then this toy is a must have! Click here to get yours from Amazon.
Number 9, Animal Jam Pet Stop Pals
Animal Jam anyone? If you have a daughter you probably know what animal jam is. I don’t have a girl and I know what it is. A friend of mine has a 7-year-old daughter who is nuts over this game. She’ll call her little friends on the phone and they’ll talk strategies for playing. It’s adorable. Not only do they love to play the game but they love to play with these little characters as well. This set comes with an EXCLUSIVE gold bunny and 2 mystery pets. There’s also a scratch off for an online game code. This is where it’s at for the animal jam fans. Click here to order yours now.
Number 8, Grossery Gang Season 3 Bundle
This is one I’ve already bought and hid away for my son. He just LOVES the grossery gang. And now they have the clean team. Have you heard of those? Anyway, these gross little squishy toys seem to be picking up momentum when it comes to the “it” toy for boys. They’ll all over YouTube and all over my house. This bundle includes 12 grosseries and the delivery strike motor bike so you can run over the grosseries and launch them at the good guys. What more could you ask for? Get your from Amazon while they’re still offering this bundle.
Number 7, My Little Pony: The Movie Seashell Lagoon Playset
This playset is based on the movie and come with Pinkie Pie as a Seapony. It also comes with a little fish and 14 other accessories for the seaponies to have the underwater tea party of the century. Open the doors to expand the playset and give more rooms to play. Press the pearl button to activate the lights and if you add water this gem will even make bubbles. With this seapony set your little mermaid at heart will be the talk of the play date circle. Click here to order from Amazon now.
Number 6, Fisher-Price Imaginext Serpent Strike Pyramid Playset
This is another one already hiding out in my house waiting for the big day. I can’t decide what I like best about this thing. If you’re familiar with Imaginext you know how awesome their toys are. Each power pad controls something different and they are all really cool. I even get a kick out of all the things they do. There really are too many features to list and I’m always finding things I didn’t know these sets could do but one thing I want to mention is that blue serpent microphone. When your child talks into the microphone it alters his voice into fun sounds and makes the playset light up. I really am excited about this one. Click here to order.
Number 5, Hatchimals Nursery Playset Bundle
Do you remember last year when everyone wanted a hatchimal and all the stores sold out? Then you started seeing people on Facebook price gouging the things because a mom will do anything to bring that Christmas magic to her child’s face. I don’t really think that will happen again this year but you never know. This is still a really HOT toy. These are mini hatchimals known as collEGGtibles and they have their own playset. How cute is this thing?! This bundle is being sold together through Amazon.
Number 4, PicassoTiles 60 Piece Set
Yet another toy I’ve already purchased. I first saw these at my son’s preschool. I came to get him a little early one day and he was playing with these. They are magnetic so stacking and building is really easy. I was intrigued so I sat down and started playing with him. Before long we had an entire castle with a drawbridge built. It was easy and fund and I decided I had to get some for home too. There are many different brands of these but I recommend these.
Number 3, 3 Wheel Mini Kick Scooter by Vokul
I don’t know why that little girl looks so sad but let me tell you, I’ve done a TON of research on this baby and I don’t see how you can do anything but smile about it. I wanted a scooter for my son so I researched the heck out of them. Here’s my list of must haves for the scooter.
- 3 wheels, he’s still young and learning to balance
- 2 wheels in the front so he doesn’t scrape his ankles on the back wheels when he pushes
- adjustable handlebar so it can grow with him
- high weight limit so again, it can grow with him
- rubberish wheels because we don’t have sidewalks and he rides on the street
- turning handlebar so he can learn to steer
This scooter had all of that plus an added bonus. The front wheels have LED lights so they light up as your kiddo zooms down the street. Click here to order one today.
Number 2, Soggy Doggy Board Game
We can all thank adorable little Ryden from Turbo Toy Time for every kid in the world wanting this game. It’s a dog that shakes water. Dog…water…board game…there’s no way out of this one. You might as well give in and get it because you’ll never hear the end of it. I’ve already purchased it but I’m saving it for a Christmas present. Every day I hear him whine about wanting Soggy Doggy and every day I’m tempted to just go get it so he’ll stop whining. Honestly guys, I don’t think I’m going to make it to Christmas. Go ahead, give in, get yours here.
Number 1, Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet
You guessed it, I bought it. They come in blue, pink or yellow and they are AMAZING! How amazing you ask? Well, let me tell you. My son currently uses an iPad mini. He loves the thing. We have apps just for him but lets face it, it’s an iPad and he can do so much that I don’t want him doing. The fire HD 8 is the same size as his iPad mini but with so many great features. It’s an android so that takes some getting used to but once you do it’s not really an issue. What I love most about it is that there is a parents platform and a kids platform. Your parents platform is password protected and you use it to set everything up. Then you choose what you put on your kids platform. They don’t have access to anything you don’t want them to and they can’t go surfing the net. I love, love, LOVE it! It comes with a year of FreeTime Unlimited and a kid proof case.
There is really too much to go into here but I promise there won’t be any buyers remorse with this tablet. Go check it out here.
